Moscow, SANA-A meeting was held on Tuesday between a Syrian government delegation which is on a visit to Moscow, chaired by Presidential Affairs Minister, Mansour Azzam , and officials of the financial, Public and private business sectors in Russian Federation.
The talks dealt with means to reinforce economic and commercial cooperation and methods of integrating markets and increasing the volume of commercial exchange between the Syrian and Russian sides as well as discussing the financing mechanisms of projects in order to ensure easing the negative effects of that war and the economic blockade on the living conditions of the Syrians.
The two sides also discussed practical steps to develop bilateral cooperation projects that were agreed upon between the two countries during the visit of deputy Prime Minister of Russia Yuri Borisov and Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and the Russian Government delegation to Damascus recently.
The Syrian delegation held yesterday a work meeting with a Russian delegation that comprises Ministries of Economic Development, foreign Affairs, energy, industry, trade, finance and agriculture.
