Global coronavirus death toll exceeds 1 million  

Capitals, SANA- The novel coronavirus pandemic (Covid-19) has killed over one million people and infected more than 33 million worldwide, according to the latest statistics published by Worldometer website on Monday.

According to the website, which is managed by a group of developers and researchers, the global coronavirus death toll has reached up to 1,002,402 whereas the infections climbed to 33,307,577, while the recoveries amounted to 24,638,482.

The US has continued to have the highest number of coronavirus infections and fatalities as it has record 7,321,343 infections and 209,453 deaths, whereas Brazil comes in the second place with 141,776 deaths and then comes India with fatality ratio that reached up to 100,000.
