Provinces, SANA-Army units on Wednesday targeted foreign-backed terrorists in many areas across the country, killing numbers of them and wounding others, in addition to thwarting infiltration attempts.
Aleppo
Units of the armed forces killed large numbers of terrorists in Aleppo province and continued to tighten their grip on the most important part of the northern countryside, meanwhile the armed terrorist organizations started to fall back from the area surrounding Nubbul and al-Zahraa towns.
A military source told SANA that army units left several terrorists dead and wounded in the area surrounding Nubbul and al-Zahraa towns, 20 km northwest of Aleppo city.
Social networking pages affiliated to the terrorist organizations admitted to the failure of terrorists’ attempts to storm al-Joud establishment overlooking Nubbul town as they were forced to retreat under the pressure of defense units.
There has also been news about heavy losses among terrorist organizations and the besieging of large numbers of them at the matchstick factory as well as the destruction of aid convoy heading from Hreitan to assist terrorists.

Homs
Units of the armed forces foiled terrorists’ attempt to infiltrate from al-Waer neighborhood into Jisr al-Kharab in Homs central province, killing scores of them and injuring others.
Daraa
Meanwhile, army units continued their operations against members of terrorist Takfiri organizations in Daraa and its countryside.
An army unit eliminated terrorists, injured others, and destroyed one of their vehicles in Atman town, while other units killed and injured terrorists in the area surrounding Syriatel building in Daraa al-Balad neighborhood, destroying the terrorists’ weapons and ammo.
Damascus Countryside
An army unit ambushed 50 terrorists while they were attempting to escape from Mayda’a town in the eastern Ghouta towards al-Dmayer city in Damascus Countryside, destroying their equipment.
Other army units clashed with terrorists in al-Ryhan farms to the northeast of Doma city, killing and injuring many of them.
Meanwhile, an army unit killed a number of terrorists, including Mustafa Naqrash, in Housh al-Dawahra farms near Doma city.
The army units also clashed with terrorists to the east of al-Manasheir round about in Jobar neighborhood, inflicting heavy losses upon them.
In the same context, army units advanced in the northern and eastern sides of Zbdeen town.
In al-Qalamoun area, the army units stormed dens and gatherings of terrorists in the mountains of al-Meshrfeh and al-Jarajer towns, killing and injuring scores of them.
