Moscow, SANA -Russian Deputy Foreign Minister, Sergei Vershinin, discussed with the Syrian Ambassador in Moscow, Dr. Ryiad Hadad, the aspects of political settlement to the crisis in Syria and the necessity to combat the terrorism.
The Russian Foreign Ministry said in statement on Monday “Vershinin discussed aspects of the political process that should be run and led by the Syrian people themselves on the basis of respecting Syria’s sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity and safety”.
The Russian Ministry added that the two sides also discussed the negative impact of the U.S unilateral coercive economic measures imposed on Syria.
