Damascus, SANA – People’s assembly approved the legislative decree no. /11/for 2020 that fixes the annual free scholarships allocated by each licensed education establishment under the provisions of the Legislative Decree no. /36/for 2001 its amendments.
The Assembly, during a session led by speaker, Hammoudeh Sabbagh, commemorated the 20th anniversary of the passing away of late President Hafez al-Assad.
The Speaker, affirmed that late leader, Hafez al-Assad, is actually considered the founder of modern Syria that continues the approach of resistance and maintains its independent decision under the leadership of President Bashar al-Assad to achieve victory following victory in the face of terrorism and its supporters.
Sabbagh indicated that Syria passes through the largest aggressive terrorist coalition, which includes NATO alliance, the usurping Zionist entity, Turkish regime and agent regimes in the region led by the US, but Syria, he says, knows very much how to protect its borders and its people by the virtue of its leader’s wisdom and army’s bravery and the sacrifices of its martyrs.
