Weather forecast: Temperature to rise; skies clear to partly cloudy

Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will rise to become around their average as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure accompanied by southwestern air current in the upper layers of the atmosphere.

The Meteorology Department expected in its Thursday bulletin that the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general and cloudy sometimes, local rain showers are expected in the evening over the coastal heights. The winds will be western to southwestern between low to moderate in speed, while the sea waves will be low to moderate in amplitude.

The expected temperatures in some main Syrian cities are as follows: Damascus 27/15, Homs 22/14, Lattakia 23/19 Aleppo 28/15 and Deir Ezzor 31/19.
