Temperatures to drop, yet remain above average

Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will slightly drop, yet remain from 3 to 5 degrees above average as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure accompanied by southwestern air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.

The Meteorology Department expected in its Wednesday bulletin that the skies will be between clear to partly cloudy in general to become cloudy sometimes in the afternoon, thundershowers are expected over the northwestern, eastern and al-Jazira areas. The winds will be western to southwestern of low speed, while the sea waves will be low in amplitude.

The expected temperatures in some main Syrian cities are as follows: Damascus 27/13, Homs 23/12, Lattakia 22/15, Aleppo 26/12, Hasaka 26/13 and Deir Ezzor 31/20.
