Idleb, SANA- Units of the Syrian Arab army on Wednesday found, during combing operations of the villages and towns which have been liberated from terrorism in Idleb southern countryside, a network of tunnels, trenches and fortifications which extend for tens of kilometers and link a number of villages and areas in which the terrorist organizations have been spreading before they were defeated.
A field commander told SANA that during combing operations of the villages and towns which have been liberated from terrorism to dismantle the mines and explosives left behind by terrorists and maintain the return of the civilians to their homes, the army units found in the villages of al-Raffeh, Tal al-Shieh, Um Jalal and others in Idleb southeastern countryside a network of tunnels, trenches and fortifications which extend for tens of kilometers which had been used by the terrorist organizations to ensure the movement of the terrorists and protect them from the strikes of the Syrian Arab army.
The source pointed out that a number of dead terrorists were found inside these tunnels.
