Moscow, SANA- Venezuelan Ambassador to Russia Carlos Rafael Faria Tortosa has reiterated his country’s solidarity with Syria and its standing by the Syrian people in the face of all schemes hatched against their country.
In an interview with SANA correspondent in Moscow Tortosa said ” Over the last years, we have seen atrocities and crimes committed in Syria by terrorists and their supporters, on top the United States as there have been thousands of victims”.
Tortosa affirmed rejection of the American reckless behavior which the US administration is trying to repeat against Venezuela and its people.
The Venezuelan ambassador hailed the heroism of the Syrian Arab Army in the battles of liberating the Syrian lands from terrorist organizations such as Daesh (ISIS) and other terrorist organizations with aid and support of the Russian allies.
He indicated that Americans’ flimsy pretexts to justify their occupation of Syrian territories confirm their actual desire to continue to support terrorists.
