Sochi, SANA-Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Thursday that solution to the crisis in Syria represents an example for solving the regional crises in the region, adding ” a blow was dealt to the terrorists.”
“We have defeated the international terrorism in Syria and foiled the return of hundreds of armed be-headers to our country and the neighboring states,” Putin said in a speech to Valdai Discussion Club, adding that the majority of Syrian territory has been liberated from terrorism in spite of attempts of some sides to hinder this.
He stressed that the political solution to the crisis in Syria, after launching an intra-Syrian political process and Astana track, backed by the UN, represents an example to solve regional crises.
