390 specialized companies to participate in Re-Build Syria Expo

Damascus, SANA- With the participation of about 390 companies from 31 Arab and foreign states, the 5th edition of Re-Build Syria Expo will kick off next Tuesday and it will last till Sep. 21st.

The Expo will be held at Damascus Fairgrounds, and it is organized by al-Basheq Institution for Expos in cooperation with the Public Works and Housing Ministry.

During the 5th Re-Build Syria Expo, specialized Arab, international and local corporations will showcase equipment, vehicles and building materials and techniques that are needed in the construction process in addition to  technologies used in the domains of energy, health, education, agriculture, telecommunication and water.

They participating companies will also exhibit services related to the real estate insurance and development, transportation, tourism, protection and security systems and the IT.

The reserved interior spaces at the Expo exceeded 22500 square meters for the first time which reflects the successes achieved by the previous four editions of expo.

The Expo aims at shedding light on the role of the public and private sectors in the reconstruction and the possibility of achieving partnership between them, according to Director of al-Basheq Institution Tamer Yaghi.

Yaghi added that al-Basheq Institution has signed new cooperation agreements and it  has accredited a number of agents and representatives for it in the UAE, Germany, Egypt, Spain, China, Belarus and other states to participate in the Expo.

The expo also includes a number of the scientific and specialized lectures on the building permits and the mechanism of evaluation of the damaged buildings, in addition to the international technologies for the implementation of buildings and training and qualifying cadres.
