Moscow, SANA- Hmeimim-based Russian Coordination Center called on the US to influence the terrorist groups it supports in al-Tanf area on the Syrian-Jordanian borders to stop their terrorists practices against the displaced Syrians in al-Rukban camp which aggravated the humanitarian crisis there.
Head of the Russian Center, Major General Alexey Pakin urged, in a statement on Thursday, the US leadership in the al-Tanf area to put pressure on the terrorist groups, which it has a influence on them, to ensure the safety of the displaced people in al-Rukban Camp and to organize a fair distribution of humanitarian assistance and quick evacuation of the displaced people who remained in the camp.
Pakin pointed out that the Syria, in cooperation with Russia and the UN, continue exerting all possible efforts to find a solution to the humanitarian crisis in the camp, which is witnessing a very complicated situation due to the practices of the US-backed terrorist groups.
He stressed that the terrorist groups backed by Washington seized large amount of the humanitarian aid which were delivered to the camp during the past days by representatives of the UN and the Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC) as those groups moved the assistance to one of their hotbeds in the al-Tanf area.
The SARC, in cooperation with the UN, delivered at the current month a humanitarian aid convoy to al-Rukban Camp , including 22 trucks loaded with relief substances.
