Moscow, SANA- Russian President’s Special Envoy to Syria Alexander Lavrentiev and Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Vershini discussed with Iraqi delegation headed by National Security Adviser Faleh al-Fayyad a number of regional issues , mainly situation in Syria and Iraq and ongoing war against terrorism.
The two sides discussed efforts to achieve sustainable security and stability in the Middle East through diplomatic and political settlement to crises on the basis of respecting sovereignty and territorial integrity of states without any foreign interference, Russian Foreign Ministry said in statement on Wednesday.
