Damascus , SANA- Grand Mufti of the Syrian Arab Republic Ahmad Badreddin Hassoun affirmed Syrian expatriates’ important role in reconstructing Syria, and conveying the reality of what is really going on in the country to the western public .

During his meeting with a delegation of National Union of Syrian Expatriates in Sweden and Europe on Saturday, Hassoun called for conveying the reality of what has been taking place in Syria , and facing the misleading media campaigns by some Western media outlets to cover up the terrorists’ crimes against the Syrian people.

Hassoun said that the Syrian people has triumph over terrorism thanks to its support to the Syrian Army and the leadership.

The members of the delegation voiced their keenness to provide everything that would strengthen the steadfastness of Syria, its army , and people until terrorism is eradicated completely from all the Syrian territories.
