New York, SANA-Cuba condemned on Wednesday US president’s proclamation on the Syrian Golan, affirming it is a flagrant violation of UN convention and international law, and relevant Security Council resolutions as well.
” The US proclamation violates the legitimate rights of the Syrian people, Arab and Islamic nations, it will have bad repercussions on stability in the Middle East,” Ana Silvia Rodríguez Abascal, Deputy permanent representative of Cub to UN, said in an interposition at UN Security Council session on the situation in the Middle East.
US President Donald Trump, in a flagrant violation of sovereignty and territorial integrity of Syrian, has issued a proclamation that “recognizes the occupied Syrian Golan as a territory affiliated to the Israeli occupation,” while Syria has underlined its categorical rejection of this proclamation.
