Two civilians injured in an attack by Turkish forces against peasants in Hasaka countryside

Hasaka, SANA- Two civilians were injured when the forces of the Turkish regime opened fire with machineguns on farmers while they were working at their paddies in Bab Suleiman village in Hasaka northern countryside in vicinity of the borders with Turkey.

Local sources told SANA reporter that “Troops of the Turkish regime on Monday morning opened fire with machineguns on civilians in the Syrian villages near the borders with Turkey as two peasants from Bab Suleiman village were injured while they were working at agricultural lands in the surroundings of the village.”

The sources indicated that the injured were rushed to al-Malkiya National Hospital by the locals to receive the treatment, adding that their health condition is stable as the first of them was shot in his shoulder while the other sustained a wound in the abdomen.

The attack launched by the Turkish regime against civilians in the safe villages and towns in the far northern countryside of Hasaka near the Turkish borders comes in framework of its continued attempts to target the Syrian sovereignty.

The Turkish regime, over the past few years, have turned the joint borders into corridors for the entry of terrorists and mercenaries to attack the Syrian state and its people and to transport the Syrian oil which is smuggled by terrorist organizations to buy it from them and increase their funding.
