Aleppo, SANA-Aleppo governor Dr. Mohammad Marwan Olabi underscored the importance of activating cooperation with humanitarian international organizations operating in Aleppo to help people there cope with the crisis.
The governor’s comments came during his meeting with representatives of UN humanitarian organizations, the International Committee of the Red Cross) (ICRC) and the Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC).
Representatives of the UN bodies voiced readiness to continue efforts with the aim to improve the living conditions of Syrian citizens, with focus put on the developmental aspects of assisting the afflicted.
In a relevant context, Olabi discussed with heads of relief and humanitarian charities the efforts exerted to help needy families and meet their needs, expressing the governorate’s keenness to offer all necessary help for the bodies working in relief aid.
