Idleb, SANA – Nine wanted persons from Idleb turned themselves in to authorities on Saturday so that they could have their legal status settled.
Last week, 221 wanted persons from Damascus and its Countryside turned themselves in to authorities.
There has been recently a noticeable surge in the number of wanted people and gunmen who turned themselves in to authorities in various provinces, bringing up to thousands the number of those who had or could have their legal status settled.
Much of this falls within the framework of efforts exerted by the government in cooperation with the reconciliation committees and the locals to achieve national reconciliations, a flurry of which has already been made.
