Damascus, SANA – Assistant National Secretary of al-Baath Arab Socialist Party Hilal al-Hilal met a delegation from Fearab Venezuela, a Venezuelan institution dedicated to coordinating Arab-Venezuelan cooperation and the work of joint societies and organizations.
During the meeting, al-Hilal underlined the role of Syrian communities abroad in helping repel the war on Syria and uncovering the reality of the events taking place in it, lauding the relations between Syria and Venezuela and the Venezuelan support for Syria in its war against terrorism.
He also called upon expatriated Syrian businessmen as well as Venezuelan businessmen to take part in the reconstruction process which will take place soon in Syria.
For his part, head of the delegation Adel al-Zaeer said their visit to Syria seeks to express solidarity with their home country in the face of the unjust war targeting it, as well as witnessing the reality of what is happening in Syria first hand in order to relay it to the Venezuelan people.
He also asserted that the Syrian community in Venezuela will continue to help and support Syria.
