Egyptian Parliament rejects Trump’s statements about Golan

Cairo, SANA-Egyptian Parliament condemned on Sunday statements of US President Donald Trump about the occupied Syrian Golan, affirming that such statements breach the international resolutions and conventions.

Speaker of the Parliament Ali Abdul-Al, in a speech at a session for the parliament, rejected such irresponsible statements, calling on the international community and public opinion to immediately move and stop this US political bias that will bring more terrorism and instability to the region.

He reiterated Egypt’s firm stance which considers Golan as an occupied Syrian territory according to international legitimacy resolutions.
