Damascus, SANA-Embassy of Russia on Wednesday held a reception in Damascus on the 101 anniversary of the Russian Army Day at Dama Rose Hotel.
The Military Attaché at the Russian Embassy Dmitri Bondar said that the Russian forces are fighting side by side along with the Syrian army and their allies against the world evil powers represented by the international terrorism.
Deputy Foreign and Expatriates Minister, Fayssal Mikdad, for his part, affirmed that the Russian leadership has recognized, since the very beginning, the need for confronting the danger of terrorism which poses threat to the whole world.
He described relations between Syria and Russia as “going ahead towards victory,” hailing the sacrifices of the Russian soldiers on the Syrian territories.
