Tehran, SANA-Iranian Defense Minister Brigadier General Amir Hatami discussed with Syrian Deputy Defense Minister Mahmoud Shawa bilateral relations between Syria and Iran.
IRNA said that Hatami expressed satisfaction over Syria’s victories on terrorism ,hoping these victories would continue.
The meeting comes within the sidelines of the International Conference on Defense and Security in West Asia in Tehran on Monday.
Shawa, For his part, said that the Syrian Arab Army is going ahead in its victories against enemies of the Syrian people, hailing the support of allies and friends to liberate the whole Syrian territory from terrorism.
In a press statement, Shawa described relations as historic and deeply-rooted which cover all political, social and economic domains, affirming that the two countries hope to boost them “more and more.”
He stressed that Syria is determined to liberate all its lands from terrorism and from any illegitimate foreign presence in the country.
