Damascus, SANA – During its weekly session chaired by Prime Minister Imad Khamis, the Cabinet approved a project for enhancing the efficiency and resources of state establishments and creating a suitable environment for development in economic and services sector.
This project, which does not include any new taxes or fees, consists of executive orders for all ministries that seek to enhance the productivity of economic establishments, review and expand investments, reform the industrial public sector.
The orders also include revising the real-estate services and environment protection laws, improve the efficiency of the Economy Ministry’s establishments, correcting the course of the higher education sector, among others.
The Cabinet formed a work team to follow up on the implementation of the plan.
