Beirut, SANA- Russian Ambassador to Lebanon Alexander Zasypkin said that the steadfastness of the Syrian Arab Army and its sacrifices along with its allies and the support provided to it and to the Syrian leadership by the Syrian people have led to the elimination and collapse of terrorist organizations in Syria.
In a statement on Friday, Zasypkin hailed the capabilities of the Syrian army and its leadership which have played a significant role in its decision to remain steadfast and to face the schemes which are backed by foreign powers.
He reiterated the firmness of the Russian role in working on the return of the displaced Syrians to their homeland.
The Russian diplomat noted that security and stability are expanding in Syria and that after the liberation of the Syrian territories from terrorism, the door has been opened for the reconstruction and the return of the displaced.
