Provinces, SANA_ Army units on Monday continued to raze hideouts and gatherings of foreign-backed armed terrorist groups across the Syrian provinces and areas.
Army units targeted and destroyed a den for terrorists and a weapons and ammunition cache in the surrounding of Kfarhaya in Jabal al-Zawieh in the countryside of the northern province of Idleb.
Quoted by SANA reporter, a military source confirmed that large numbers of terrorists, including leaders of terrorist groups, were killed in the operation, which also resulted in the destruction of a number of cars equipped with heavy machine guns which the terrorists were using.
Another den was destroyed in al-Kastan al-Fouqani village in Jisr al-Shughour area, with all the terrorists inside it left dead and wounded. A pick up car loaded with weapons and ammunition was also destroyed in the operation.
Units of the armed forces continued to advance deeper into Joubar neighborhood in Damascus Countryside, a military source said.
The source told SANA reporter that the army units gained control of scores of building blocks in the neighborhood and tightened their grip on Zamalka roundabout after killing many terrorists and wounding others.
Earlier, a convoy of terrorists’ vehicles with all terrorists aboard them were destroyed in Jarrod Arsal.
According to a military source, a number of terrorists were wiped out as their vehicles were destroyed in Ritan, al-Kastello, Qadi Askar, al-Shiekh Said, al-Zebdieh, old Aleppo, Bustan al-Basha, surrounding Sifan, Bani Zaid, Aghiour, al-Mallah farms and Pashkwa in Aleppo and its countryside.
In Hama, 29 terrorists were killed and a large number o their vehicles were destroyed in Atshan, Skaik in Hama countryside.
A military source told SANA that Army units destroyed two terrorists’ dens with all terrorists inside them in Samlin and inflicted heavy losses upon them in Daraa al-Balad, Tal al-Hara, Tal al-Alaqieh and on Tafas-al-Yadodeh road in Daraa and its countryside.
Army units killed a number of terrorists, injured others and destroyed their equipment during operations that targeted their gatherings in Enkhil, Kahil, N’eimeh and Jerrin in al-Lajat area and in the surrounding of Atman town in the countryside of the southern province.
Other Army units eliminated dozens of terrorists and destroyed a number of their vehicles equipped with heavy machine guns in Um Sharshouh, Jazel, in the vicinity of Jabal al-Shaer and Jbab Hamad in Homs countryside.
