Damascus, SANA- Syrian Cartoonist Raed Khalil won the special prize (Honorary Diploma) in the 3rd International Contest Animal Cartoon 2018 held recently in Serbia.
Kahlil’s winning picture portrayed a sheep watching through a telescope from a mountaintop the flocks of distant wolves without paying attention to other wolves surrounding him.
Hundreds of cartoonists from different countries across the world took part in the contest, including Spain, Serbia, Iran, Russia, Ukraine, Italy, Indonesia, Brazil and Czech.
Khalil won scores of world awards from France, Britain, China, Korea, Iran, Russia and other countries, while he was a member of juries in several international festivals in many countries, like India, Germany, Iran, China, Azerbaijan, Morocco and Turkey.
