Damascus, SANA – Daesh and Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists targeted with shells al-Midan Neighborhood and Daraa-Damascus Highway, causing material damage to the houses and properties.
A source at Damascus Police Command told SANA Thursday that terrorists positioned in al-Hajar al-Aswad area fired a mortar shell on the southern outskirts of Damascus city which landed on the roof of one of the houses near Abdul Rahman al-Kawakibi School causing material damage only.
In a similar statement, a source at Damascus Countryside Police Command stated that two mortar shells fired by terrorists fell in the surrounding area of Town Center on Damascus-Daraa Highway and resulted in material damage.
In retaliation, army units dealt blows to the sources of the attack, destroying terrorists’ positions and mortar launchers and inflicting heavy losses upon them in arms and personnel according to SANA reporter.
