Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will rise to become from 4 to 6 degrees above average as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure accompanied by western airstreams in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology department expected in its Thursday bulletin that the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general; rain showers accompanied with thunder will fall over the northwesterly and coastal regions.
The winds will be western to southwestern of moderate speed, while the sea waves will be moderate to high in amplitude.
The expected temperatures in some main Syrian cities are as follows: Damascus 27/08, Daraa 27/08, Homs 24/08, Hama 26/08, Lattakia 23/11, Aleppo 22/06 and Deir Ezzor 27/11.
