Provinces, SANA – Dozens of terrorists were killed and others were injured on Thursday during military operations carried out against their gatherings and dens in several areas around the country.
Army units, aided by the national defense forces, started entering Helfaya town in the countryside of the central province of Hama, and are currently sweeping the town.
Army units targeted dens and gatherings of terrorists in Mourik and Kfar Zaita in Hama countryside, eliminating many of them, in addition to destroying their weapons caches.
Units of armed forces targeted and destroyed barricaded positions of terrorists affiliated to Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist organization in Joubar, Ein Tarma and the surrounding of al-Dekhaniyeh in Damascus Countryside, killing large numbers of the terrorists.
A military source told SANA that the army units killed and injured scores of terrorists in al-Doukhaniyeh neighborhood, and that other army units eliminated all members of an armed terrorist group who were affiliated to the so-called “Islamic Brigade” including Mazen al-Na’al, one of their leaders.
In Joubar, army units killed and injured many terrorists, in addition to destroying their equipment. Among the dead terrorists were Suleiman al-Mdawar, Mohammad al-Hanash and Ibrahim Halbouni.
Meanwhile, another army unit stormed a terrorists’ den in al-Shayfouniyeh farms in Doma area, killing a number of terrorists, including Yusuf Hamada and Jalal Muhheideen.
In the southern countryside of Damascus, army units targeted terrorists’ dens and gatherings in Bait Tema and Khan al-Sheeh farms, killing and inujring scores of terrorists.
In Idleb, army units killed scores of terrorists and destroyed their equipment in Nahliyeh, the surrounding of Jabal al-Arba’een, Shnan, Maaret al-Numan and Harbanoush in the countryside of the province.
In the same context, a military source told SANA that army units killed and injured a number of terrorists, and destroyed the vehicles they were using in the areas of Breikat Beer al-Ajam, Um Batina , Mashara, Rueihina, al-Swaisa, Ain al-Tina and Mumtana in the countryside of Homs central province.
Army units targeted terrorists’ gatherings in the areas of Majdoulia, Deir Makir, Khirbat al-Sultanieh, al-Tihina, al-Hija, Aqraba and Nabi’a al-Sakhr, leaving many terrorists dead and wounded, according to the source.
Moreover, the army units targeted terrorists’ gatherings and hideouts in al-Bargouthiyeh, between the southern and northern villages of al-Shindakhiyeh, near al-Sultaniyeh and al-Fao Shawish in the countryside, killing a number of them and injuring others.
A military source told SANA reporter that an army unit ambushed terrorists to the west of al-Zara village, destroying a number of their boats in al-Rastan lake which were loaded with ammunition, in addition to killing a number of terrorists in Um Sharshouh and al-Hilalia.
Meanwhile, SANA reporter quoted the people in al-Rastan city as saying that more than 4000 citizens took to the streets on Wednesday to condemn the armed terrorist organizations’ acts, calling on the terrorists to leave the city.
Army units killed and injured a number of terrorists, and destroyed the vehicles they were using in the areas of Breikat Beer al-Ajam, Um Batina , Mashara, Rueihina, al-Swaisa, Ein al-Tina and Mumtanna in the countryside of Quneitra southern province.
Terrorists’ gatherings in the areas of Majdoulia, Deir Makir, Khirbat al-Sultanieh, al-Tihina, and al-Hija were also targeted. The operations resulted in killing and injuring dozens of terrorists.
Other army units targeted terrorists’ hideouts in the towns and villages of Kafr Shams, Akraba, Tal Mahs and Mas’hara, Um al-Awsaj, Nabi’a al-Sakhr and al-Tiyha, leaving many of the terrorists dead and wounded, in addition to destroying the weapons and vehicles they were using.
In Daraa, an army unit destroyed a warehouse for storing explosive devices on al-Najih-Kiratah crossroads in Mahajjeh, in the countryside.
A military source told SANA reporter that the army units killed a number of terrorists and injured others in addition to destroying their hideouts, vehicles to the west of Atman, to the north of al- Ghezlan farm, surrounding al -Akhdar Mosque, the railways buildings, Haman in Allajat area, Kafer Nasej, to the north of Tal al-Allakiyeh, Jadal Tour area, al-Madajen to the north of Tal al-Mal, near Kharab al-Shameh, Jasem and Nawa villages and on Kitah-Salmin crossroads in the countryside of the province.
The army units also targeted terrorists’ hideouts in Boser al-Harir town, surrounding Tal Bazak, Kroum Jebeh and to the south of al-Samadaniyeh al- Sharkiyeh, killing a number of them and wounding others in addition to destroying a number of their vehicles near the southern reservoir of Inkhel.
In Daraa al-Balad, an army unit destroyed a den for the terrorists’ leaders to the west of the old Masaken of Sajneh al-Qadima in al-Manshiyeh neighborhood, killing and injuring a number of them.
Other army units destroy a number of trucks which terrorists were using in al-Ajami area. All terrorists aboard the trucks were killed or injured.
In the northern countryside of Lattakia province, army units killed many terrorists and injured others in military operations carried out against their gatherings in the villages of al-Durra, al-Rehania, Burj Zahi and al-Kouz Mountain.
Five large vehicles and a car equipped with a heavy machinegun were destroyed in the operations.
Units of the armed forces killed scores of terrorists affiliated to the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) terrorist organization in al-Haweiqa and al-Rushdiyeh neighborhoods in Deir Ezzor city.
A source in the province told SANA that another army unit stormed dens of terrorists in Mohassan and al-Boulil villages in the eastern countryside of the province, killing and injuring large numbers of them, in addition to destroying their vehicles.
Units of the armed forces carried out operations targeting the dens and gatherings of terrorists in several towns, villages, and neighborhoods in Aleppo and its countryside, inflicting heavy losses upon them.
A military source told SANA that the army units targeted gatherings of terrorists in Anadan, al- Jaboul, Balat, Fafeen, Babis, Akhtareen, al-Mansoura, Kfar Naha, Khan al-Assal, Kfar Hamra, al- Layramoun and the area surrounding al-Kindi Hospital, killing and injuring scores of them.
The source added that other army units killed and injured many terrorists and destroyed their vehicles in the Old Aleppo and the neighborhoods of al-Sheikh Maqsoud, Hananou, al-Enzarat and al- Rashedden in Aleppo city.
Army units also targeted gatherings of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists in the areas of Hreitan, Mare’a, Kafr Naha, and Jeb Ali in Aleppo, inflicting heavy losses upon them.
An army unit targeted a den for Janhat al-Nusra terrorists in Qabtan al-Jabal to the northwestern of Aleppo, killing and injuring all terrorists inside it.
