Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will rise to become around average or slightly higher as the country is affected by a superficial high air pressure accompanied by southwestern air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
Meteorology Department expected in its Wednesday bulletin that the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general while the weather will be cold at night, warning against fog in some inland areas.
The wind will be westerly to southwesterly with a low to moderate speed and the sea waves will be low to medium in height.
The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 14/8, Daraa 15/8, Homs 13/8, Lattakia 18/13, Aleppo 13/7 and Deir Ezzor 14/9.
