Moscow, SANA- Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov affirmed that the Syrian National Dialogue Congress in Sochi is an important step in the political track to resolve the crisis in Syria.
Peskov told journalists on Friday that holding Sochi Congress is considered a concrete step towards a political resolution to the Syrian crisis.”However, the work is complicated and hard and there are still many issues to be solved and a lot of obstacles to be overcome,” he added.
The Spokesman added that the Russian President Vladimir Putin will not participate in Sochi Congress, saying that “work is underway on a different level and the most important are the results which will be evaluated and analyzed after the congress.”
