Moscow, SANA-Russian President,Vladimir Putin, and permanent members of the Russian Security Council discussed on Monday the preparations for holding the Syrian National Dialogue Congress.
“The sides discussed in detail prospects of the Syrian settlement, ” Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters.
He addded that the participants also “exchanged views on the preparations for the Congress.”
The guarantor states, in the final statement of Astana 8 meeting, stressed their determination to work towards supporting the preparations for the Syrian National Dialogue Congress in the Russian city of Sochi on January 29-30 with the participation of all segments of Syrian society.
