Damascus, SANA – Assistant Interior Minister Lt. Hassan Maarouf said that several steps have been taken and roads were opened to facilitate the movement of visitors to Damascus International Fair.

In a statement to SANA, Maarouf said that traffic leading to the Fair has been smooth on Saturday, with no congestion or obstruction due to the steps that have been taken.

The huge turnout for the Fair on Friday which exceeded expectations caused traffic jams, preventing many from reaching the Fair.
