Provinces, SANA- Army units, backed by the army air force, destroyed gatherings and positions of the ISIS terrorists in the surroundings of Deir Ezzor City.
A military source told SANA that the army air force carried out concentrated strikes against gatherings and positions of the ISIS in Talet Alloush at the southern axis of the city, killing scores of terrorists and destroying their vehicles.
SANA’s reporter in Deir Ezzor said that an army unit killed all members of an ISIS-affiliated terrorist group after they tried to attack a military post in the area of al-Maqaber “cemeteries”.
The reporter added that the army air force carried out a series of airstrikes that targeted positions, gatherings and fortifications of the ISIS terrorists in the areas of Talet Brouk, al-Kanamat crossing, al-Maqaber and Talet Alloush, killing a number of terrorists and injuring others, in addition to destroying a number of their vehicles.
Homs
A military source affirmed on Saturday that the Syrian Arab Army’s units encircled al-Sikhnieh city fully from three directions.
The source told SANA that the army units continued to advance towards al-Sikhnieh city in Palmyra countryside and encircled it from the south, southeastern, and southwestern directions, and established control over Tantour Mountain and al-Dwihki cavern less than 1 km from the outskirts of the city, killing many ISIS terrorists and destroying their weapons and equipment including armored vehicles and cars equipped with machineguns.
Earlier, the source said that an army unit clashed with ISIS terrorist group which attacked military points in the surroundings of al- Sikhnieh in Palmyra countryside.
The source noted that the clashes ended up with foiling the attack after killing all the members of the terrorist group and destroying an armored vehicle rigged with explosive and two machinegun-equipped vehicles.
Hama
The Syrian army air force destroyed gatherings and positions of the ISIS terrorists in the eastern countryside of Hama central province.
The army air force targeted positions and vehicles of the ISIS terrorists in the villages of Jana al-Albawi, Abu Janayia, Salba and Abu Hubailat in the eastern countryside.
A number of the ISIS terrorists were killed in the airstrikes and a number of their machinegun-equipped vehicles were destroyed.
Raqqa
Army units, in cooperation with supporting forces, reestablished control over a number of towns in the southeastern countryside of Raqqa province after killing scores of ISIS terrorists, a military source told SANA.
The source said that army units and supporting forces restored security and stability to the towns of al-Hardan, Salem al-Hamd, al-Atshana, Muqla Kabira, Muqla Saghira, and al-Da’ama.
The source added that the operations also resulted in eliminating large numbers of ISIS terrorists, destroying more than 30 assorted vehicles and 6 car bombs, and seizing two tanks.
Earlier today, the Syrian Air Force carried out intensive airstrikes against positions and gatherings of the ISIS terrorists in the southern countryside of Raqqa.
A military source told SANA that the Air Force targeted positions of the ISIS terrorists in the villages of al-Khamsiyia, Salem al-Hamad, al-Numaisa, al-Jaber and in Ma’adan city in the
southern countryside.
The source indicated that heavy losses were inflicted upon the ISIS terrorists in the personnel and equipment and their positions and machinegun-equipped vehicles were destroyed.
