Damascus, SANA – The People’s Assembly congratulated the brotherly Iraqi parliament on the occasion of the great victory over the terrorist organization of ISIS and the liberation of the city of Mosul from terrorism.
In a cable sent by the Speaker of People’s Assembly Hadiyeh Abbas to her Iraqi counterpart Salim Abdullah al-Jabouri and the Iraqi MPs, Abbas said that “this great victory is a strategic milestone in our common battle against the armed terrorist groups targeting the brotherly peoples of Syria and Iraq.”
She expressed the hope that the Iraqi forces will continue their operations against ISIS until achieving final victory.
