Provinces, SANA – Units of the armed forces on Thursday continued military operations against terrorists in several areas across the country, inflicting heavy losses upon them.
Units of the armed forces targeted gatherings and dens of terrorists in Daraa al-Balad and its countryside where many of them were killed and injured and their vehicles were destroyed.
A military source told SANA that army units attacked gatherings of terrorists in Ataman town to the west of the roundabout and in Hush al-Shrieda in al-Lajat, in the western alley of Ataman town, and to the south-west of al-Yadoda in Daraa countryside where a number of them were killed and injured.
The source added that army units foiled terrorists’ infiltration attempt from the east of Da’el city towards one of the military posts to the south of the city and towards Nawa village in Daraa countryside as a number of them were killed and wounded.
Other army units also destroyed a pickup in Busr al-Harir and another pickup in Ataman town in Daraa countryside where all terrorists inside them were eliminated.
In Daraa al-Balad, gatherings of terrorists were targeted to the east of bilal al-Habashi Mosque and Abu Zaid Mosque and to the south of al-Yarmouk school where many terrorists were killed and wounded as their vehicles were destroyed.
A military source told SANA that army units have targeted terrorists’ gatherings and dens near the National Forest in Nawa and in the vicinity of Tal al-Jomou’ and Kherbet Sannin, and to the east of Hwaishan in al-Lajat area in Daraa countryside, killing several terrorists and wounding others.
The source indicated that army units have killed terrorists and wounded others in the Old Customs and southwest of Daraa city, destroying their weaponry.
An army unit thwarted terrorists attempt to infiltrate from the villages of Unq al-Hawa and Rahhoum towards Maksar al-Hosan village in Homs countryside, killing and injuring a number of them, and destroying their weapons and ammunition.
Other army units targeted terrorists’ gatherings in the villages of Taldao, Kafer Laha, Tal Dahab in al-Hula, Deirfoul in al-Rastan and al-Sa’en in Talbiseh in Homs countryside. The army units killed and wounded a number of terrorists and destroyed their weapons and ammunition.
Meanwhile, terrorists fired a number of mortar shells on the villages of Maryamin, al-Ghour al-Gharbiyeh, and the Water Company in Taldao, Tallet al-Ein in al-Qaryateen in Palmyra countryside, with minor losses.
Army units also killed many terrorists after attacking their hideout in Ovania village and the farms of al- Khazrajia in Quneitra countryside.
Another unit of the armed forces clashed with terrorists in Wa’aret al-Abbasieh to the west of Zakia in Damascus countryside where most of them were eliminated.
Army units killed and injured on Thursday a number of terrorists in many areas in Aleppo and its countryside and destroyed their weapons.
The army units targeted terrorists’ gatherings in the areas of al-Owaijeh, Serjeh Kabira, Balat, al-Jadideh, Khan al-Assal, al-Kalaseh, Kafer Da’el and al-Sha’ar roundabout in Aleppo and its countryside.
Other army units destroyed a number of terrorists’ cars, some of which equipped with heavy machineguns in Alliramoun and Hanano, killing and injuring all terrorists inside them.
In Idleb countryside, army units eliminated a number of terrorists and injured others during targeting their hideouts surrounding Sbiro town in Jisr al-Shoghour and in Qminas, al-Baraghiti and al-Mestriha, destroying their weapons and ammunition.
A military source said that army units have destroyed several dens for terrorists and an arms cache, inflicting direct losses among them on Idleb-Harem road.
They also targeted terrorist concentrations in Bzeit, Bales and to the west of Abu al-Zohour and Humaimat al-Dayer in Idleb countryside, killing several terrorists and wounding others.
A military source said that army units have destroyed an armored vehicles for terrorists in Arshouna village, and killed and wounded terrorists in Salam Gharbi village in Homs countryside.
In Deir Az-Zour, an army unit has clashed with terrorists in al-Hwaika neighborhood, killing three and wounding 16 others. The terrorists’ weapons were also destroyed.
Army units have killed numbers of terrorists from the so-called “Islamic State in Iraq and Syria” in the neighborhoods of al-Rushdieh, al-Hwaika, al-Sinaa’, al-Shaikh Yassin and on al-Siyassieh bridge in Deir Ez-Zor city.
The source indicated that several terrorists were killed and others wounded, with their weapons and vehicles destroyed.

SANA reporter said that a unit of the army eliminated all terrorists who were inside Tamico company to the north of al-Mleiha town and destroyed an amount of weapons and ammunition and killed other terrorists in Ein Tarma.
Meanwhile, a number of operations were carried out in Eastern Ghouta in Zibdin town and al-Nashabieh farms that resulted in killing and injuring several terrorists.
