Damascus, SANA Maintenance workshops in Damascus started on Tuesday rehabilitating infrastructure in al-Qadam neighborhood to restore electricity, water and communication services after the national reconciliation agreement was put into effect yesterday.
In a statement to SANA, Engineer Mohammad Hamamieh, head of the vehicles department at the maintenance department, said that work is in progress around the clock until all maintenance operations are accomplished.
A national reconciliation agreement was reached recently in al-Qadam, al-Assali, Jouret al- Shrebati, Pour Said and al-Mazenieh neighborhoods.
Other national reconciliation agreements were reached previously in Barzeh, Moadamiat al-Sham and Babila neighborhoods and other areas.
