Terrorist mortar attacks claim 2 lives, injure 18 others, cause material damage

Provinces, SANA – Two citizens, including a child, were killed and 18 others were injured in terrorist mortar attacks on Kamhaneh town in the northern countryside of Hama on Tuesday.

A source at Hama Police Command said that terrorists fired a number of mortar shells on the town, claiming the lives of two citizens, including a child and injuring 18 others, among them 5 children also.

The injured were hospitalized to Hama national hospital.

The terrorist attacks caused material damage to the citizens’ houses and properties.

In Damascus Countryside, terrorists also fired mortar shells on al-Quteifa town on Monday, causing only material damage and no injuries.

A source at Damascus Countryside Police Command told SANA that the shells landed in the town, causing material damage to some houses, pointing out that no causalities were reported.
