Daraa, SANA – Food aid provided by Russia was distributed on Thursday among the families and displaced people in the towns of Deir al-Bakhet and Ghabagheb in the northern countryside of Daraa province.
Director of Social Affairs and Labor in the province, Nibal al-Hariri said that the aid included 600 food packages for families of martyrs and wounded people as well as displaced people.
Representative of the Hmeimim-based Russian Coordination Center in the Southern region noted that the aid expresses the Russian people’s solidarity with the friendly people of Syria, adding that Russia will continue to provide support to Syria and its steadfast people to confront terrorism.
