Damascus, SANA- Six persons were injured Monday in mortar terrorist attacks on residential neighborhoods in Damascus city.
A source at Damascus Police Command told SANA that the terrorists targeted the area surrounding Umayyad Square with four mortar shells, injuring four persons.
The source added that two other mortar shells, fired by the terrorists on al-Mezzeh 86 neighborhood, caused material damage to public and private properties, and no injuries or casualties were registered.
Earlier, terrorist groups positioned in the Eastern Ghouta targeted al-Qeimariyeh neighborhood in the Old City of Damascus with 3 shells, injuring two persons and causing material damage to citizens’ properties.
