Syrian players win doubles title at 2017 Qatar Asian Junior U14 Tennis Tournament

Doha, SANA – Taim al-Azmeh and Aous abu Hassan of the Syrian national U-14 tennis team won the title of the doubles competitions at the 2017 Qatar Asian Junior U14 Tennis Tournament, organized in cooperation with the Asian Tennis Federation.

Al-Azmeh and Abu Hassan beat the Qatari double team Rashed Nawaf and Ibrahim Sleiti in the final game.

Al-Azmeh will meet later today the Qatari Rashed Nawaf in the final match in the singles competitions.

Yaman Naghnagh will play for the third place against the Jordanian Abdullah Shalbaia.

In a statement to SANA sport reporter, member of the Tennis Federation, Wassim Zeiniyeh, said the participation in the tournament has allowed the national team’s players the opportunity to prepare for the World Juniors Boys Final Qualifiers in Thailand, March 20 to 25.
