Damascus, SANA – Speaker of the People’s Assembly Hadiyeh Abbas affirmed on Wednesday the important role the Syrians living abroad could play in the post-crisis reconstruction process in the country.
During a meeting with the delegation of the Syrian community in Kuwait, Abbas highlighted the important and positive role played by the Syrian communities abroad, particularly in Kuwait, in facing the fierce terrorist attack on Syria through their ongoing efforts to enhance the resilience of their fellow Syrians at home.
For their part, members of the delegation said they are planning investment projects that target the families of martyrs and wounded persons and would contribute to strengthening the national economy.
They also expressed their pride in the heroism of the Syrian Arab Army personnel.
