Damascus, SANA –Syria vehemently condemns the coward terrorist attack that rocked Pakistani city of Lahore, claiming lives of many innocent people and expresses condolences to the Pakistani government, people and families of the victims, Foreign and Expatriates Ministry said.
The Ministry added in a statement on Monday that the acts of barbarism committed by the Takfiri obscurantist terrorist powers stress again the need for concerting international sincere efforts for combating terrorism effectively and putting an end to its crimes and dangers that threaten the world peace and stability.
In Sunday, at least, 65 people were killed and 280 others were injured, most of whom children or women, in a suicide terrorist bombing hit a public park in Lahore city, the capital of Punjab province in Pakistan.
