Syrian-French Council condemns provocative calls for foreign intervention in Syria

Damascus, SANA- The Syrian-French Council strongly denounced the provocative calls for foreign intervention and violation of the Syrian sovereignty and use of foreign countries against the Syrian people.

“The Syrian people is a cohesive social fabric united by ties of love, brotherhood, and coexistence, under the name of citizenship, but the defunct regime sought to divide the society’s components by spreading the idea of “minorities” to sow discord and spread hatred”, Syrian-French Council told SANA in a statement.

The statement added “the Syrian-French Council trusts the Syrians’ awareness of the malicious goals behind these calls”.

The council affirmed the Syrians’ keenness on the unity and independence of their country, and they reject any call that violates the country’s unity, as the defunct regime did, which violated Syrian sovereignty by calling for foreign intervention that caused Syrians’ suffer, according to the statement.
