Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations: 24,000 mines dismantled in Donbass

Moscow, SANA- Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations has dismantled 24, 000 mines  left behind by Ukrainian militants in the liberated areas of Donbass.

“The Russian emergency units continue clearing mines from the infrastructure and lands as nearly 152 hectares were combed which resulted in the discovery of about 24,000 mines and they have been deactivated,” the ministry said in a statement quoted by RIA Novosti news agency.

The joint forces of Russian Minister of Emergency Situations and the Emergency Ministry at the Donetsk People’s Republic are combing the rubble of buildings on an area of ​​more than 55 thousand square meters.
