Bratislava, SANA – Slovak President Andre Kiska stressed the necessity of President Bashar al-Assad’s participation in talks related to solving the crisis in Syria.
Kiska said in an interview with the Slovak TV Sunday that the crisis in Syria is the main source of the refugees’ influx to Europe, which makes solving it an important issue.
The Slovak President considered that adopting the work on obligatory portions of distributing the refugees among the European Union’s states does not represent a solution to the crisis, pointing out that his country cannot force refugees to reside in it.
