Taipei, SANA- Twenty-seven people were injured Tuesday in a 6.4 magnitude earthquake that struck southern Taiwan.
The Associated Press (AP) quoted the US Geological Survey as saying that “the epicenter of the earthquake was 38 kilometers southeast of Chiayi County, at a depth of 10 kilometers.”
The earthquake also caused a fire at a printing plant in Chiayi.
In April, at least 13 people were killed and more than a thousand others were injured in a 7.4 magnitude earthquake that struck the east coast of Hualien in Taiwan.
