Russian air defenses down Ukrainian drones over several provinces

Moscow, SANA- Russian Defense Ministry announced on Monday that air defense systems intercepted and shot down 20 Ukrainian drones over several Russian regions.

“Last night, the Kiev regime attempted to carry out a terrorist attack using drones on targets in Russian territory, and 20 Ukrainian drones were destroyed and intercepted by air defense systems on duty”,Sputnik quoted the ministry as saying in a statement.

“Air defense systems shot down 9 drones over the territory of Saratov region, three over the territory of Kursk region, six drones over Belgorod, Bryansk and Tula regions, and two other over Oryol and Ryazan regions”, the ministry added.

On an almost daily basis, Ukrainian forces target with drones and missiles Russian border areas in Belgorod, Bryansk, Kursk, Voronezh, Rostov and Crimean provinces, causing civilian casualties and damage to residential areas.
