A Libyan plane arrives at Lattakia Airport loaded with food and medical aid

Lattakia, SANA- A Libyan plane loaded with food and medical aid arrived on Wednesday at Lattakia Airport carrying a new batch of aid to the affected by the earthquake hit Syria on February 6th.

Director of Lattakia Airport, Ziyad Tawil, said in a statement to SANA reporter that the Libyan plane carries 40 tons of foodstuffs on board, including food cans and milk, in addition to medical equipment, including beds, mattresses, and a medical device.

It worth mentioning that the number of the planes coming from the Arab and foreign countries to Lattakia Airport reached 29 planes so far, including 12 from UAE, 9 from Benghazi, 3 from Belarus, 3 from Russia and 2 from Iran.
