Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will drop to become below average as the country is affected by a superficial low pressure accompanied by cold and wet air mass that extends in all layers of the atmosphere.
Meteorology Department expected in its Friday bulletin that the weather will be partly cloudy, while it be rainy over most regions, as the rainfalls will be heavy accompanied by lightning and thunder sometimes over the coastal areas, while snow will fall over the mountainous heights with 1500 m altitude.
The winds will be westerly to southwesterly, moderate in speed with active gusts, and the sea waves will be moderate to high in amplitude.
The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 11/5, Homs 9/5, Lattakia 14/8, Aleppo 10/5, Tartous 15/9 and Deir Ezzor 17/8.
